At the beginning of February, the United States and Russia ratified the New Start Treaty which will greatly reduce the number of nuclear warheads deployed by the two countries. Winning Connections worked with Peace Action West and Women's Action for New Directions to connect citizens with their Senators to advocate for the treaty’s passage. Both organizations are doing great work to make our world safer and more peaceful.
